Description:
Description for B&B:
Our site is best described by the key-words: tranquillity, nature, privacy, and comfort. Located in the Quercy region of France, Pech Blanc offers a unique and beautiful experience. The Quercy is a rugged and hilly plateau with lush forests and deep gorges carved by the river Lot and its contributing streams. Despite its natural beauty, the Quercy remains a hidden gem, known as the forgotten district even within France. It is a paradise for nature lovers, with a vast network of footpaths and opportunities for horse riding. Exploring the Quercy by car or motorcycle will lead to many exciting discoveries. Our traditional stone-built barn at Pech Blanc was fully restored in 2004/2005 and now offers four spacious and comfortable bedrooms, along with a breakfast/dining room. Two bedrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, while the other two are on the first floor. We have three double rooms and one family room, with one room specially designed for wheelchair users. Each room is equipped with central heating, a private bathroom, and a television. The combination of thick stone walls and modern insulation ensures a pleasant temperature year-round. The ground floor rooms have independent entrances, while the first-floor rooms are accessed via a common staircase. All entrances, including the dining room, open onto the central courtyard. Surrounding the courtyard, you will find the main farmhouse, garage, and other outbuildings. The dining room features an inviting open fire, and our large hangar has been transformed into a beautifully decorated lounge where you can enjoy drinks and dinner with us, if desired.Reviews
