Marie-Pierre and Jean-Yves invite you to stay at their charming cottage named "Dolphins" (rated 3 stars), located in Matignon, Brittany (22550). This cozy accommodation can accommodate 2 to 5 people and is conveniently situated just 4 km away from the beautiful seaside resort of St Cast le Guildo."The Dolphins" cottage has undergone a complete renovation to ensure your comfort during your stay. It is well-equipped with amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, television, radio/CD player, DVD player, and digital TV channels. The ground floor consists of a kitchen and a living room, along with a bathroom and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with three single beds - as well as another bathroom with a toilet.
Outside, there is a fenced garden at the back of the house, featuring a private garden, a terrace with a shelter, garden furniture, two sun loungers, and a barbecue. Additionally, there is a front yard where you can conveniently park your car.
Within walking distance from the cottage, you will find various shops including supermarkets (Super U, Lidl), a bakery, and other small shops. There are also clothing, shoe, craft, and flower stores, as well as restaurants offering delicious crepes and pizzas. Nearby attractions include the picturesque city of Saint Cast le Guildo with its seven sandy beaches, marina, and rocky cliffs. You can also explore the medieval town of Dinan or the corsair city of Saint Malo, both located within a 30 km radius. Other nearby destinations worth visiting include Dinard, Cap Frehel, Erquy, Pleneuf, Lancieux, Saint Jacut, and even the iconic Mont Saint Michel, which is 70 km away. If you have extra time, consider a trip to the beautiful island of Brehat or the charming town of Paimpol, both accessible within an hour's drive.
There are various activities available in the area to keep you entertained, including hiking on the GR34 trail (just 2.5 km away from the cottage), golfing, horse riding, cinema, disco, casino, water sports, fishing, tennis, and mountain biking. If you prefer swimming in heated seawater, head to St. Cast where you can enjoy the beach. For a unique experience, visit the large Aquarium of Saint Malo, located just 30 minutes away, or explore the amusement park at PARC COBAC Lanhélin (45 minutes away) or the pirate maze (20 minutes away). The cottage is available for rent throughout the year, with flexible options including nightly, weekend, and weekly stays. The rental rates for 2010 are as follows: 250 euros per week in March, April, October, November, and December; 310 euros per week in May, June, and September; and 490 euros per week in July and August.
A reservation deposit of 25% is required, and checks are accepted. Baby equipment such as a high chair, bath, and bed can be provided upon request. Dogs are allowed, subject to prior approval.
