Description:

Description for B&B:

Located in the western Loire, just south of Normandy, the château de Mirvault is surrounded by a picturesque park with a tree-lined drive. This tranquil setting is home to an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels and rabbits. The château itself sits in the middle of the park, leading down to the banks of the Mayenne river. Fields and copses surround the property, creating a serene atmosphere.

For fishing enthusiasts, a nearby barrage provides an excellent opportunity to indulge in this activity. Additionally, guests have the option to take a boat out on the river, allowing for leisurely trips through the locks and along the scenic waterway.

Having been in our family since the 16th century, the château exudes a sense of history and continuity. It truly feels like a home, radiating contentment. Conveniently located near various channel ports, we are only 20 kilometers away from Laval, 45 minutes from Angers, and an hour from the renowned racing circuit at Le Mans and the stunning Loire châteaux. For those coming from Paris, it is a three-hour journey to reach us.
