Our journey began with a wild idea. As a nurse and heavy vehicle driver, my husband and I embarked on a thrilling adventure to transform a 1929 mansion into a luxurious bed and breakfast. Our mission was to blend modern comforts with the mansion's timeless beauty. Located in the heart of Livradois Forez in Auvergne, we have crafted a haven comprising two guest rooms, eight campsites, a charming treehouse, and two cozy chalets nestled amidst the enchanting forest.Situated within a sprawling 6,400 m² wooded and landscaped park, our sanctuary offers a tranquil setting in the captivating Thiers mountains. Just a short 10 km drive from Thiers, the renowned cutlery capital, and within a convenient 50 km radius of Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy, our guests can truly immerse themselves in the wonders of our splendid region.
We christened our abode "E lu chantauziau," which translates to "birdsong" in Auvergnat, paying homage to the harmonious melodies that grace our surroundings. The park is blessed with natural springs and frequented by a variety of captivating wildlife, who often grace us with their presence. In addition, we have our own beloved pets who add to the charm of our sanctuary.
Our establishment offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay, including a well-stocked library, an assortment of board games, a delightful henhouse, a flourishing garden, and numerous spaces designed for relaxation and outdoor leisure.
We warmly welcome your furry companions, as we understand the importance of their presence in creating a complete family experience.
