Our goal is to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for your stay. Whether you prefer basking in the sun, relaxing in the shade, or savoring a bottle of wine on our terrace, we have created the perfect environment for you.

Your hosts, Carol and Ted, are dedicated to ensuring that you have an unforgettable experience in the stunning Berry countryside. Please note that our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of our 2-acre property, which boasts meticulously landscaped gardens with an array of trees, shrubs, and vibrant flower borders. Feel free to take a leisurely stroll and explore our fruit and vegetable gardens, which provide a delightful harvest for both guests and ourselves throughout the year.

Indulge in a delightful dining experience under the garden pergola, weather permitting. Our evening meals often feature organic and seasonal produce from our own garden. We take pride in freshly preparing all of our meals and can accommodate any special dietary needs or preferences, including vegetarian options.

For our guests who are pet owners, we offer a pet-friendly room conveniently located on the ground floor for easy access. Simply let us know in advance if you plan on bringing your well-behaved pet, and we will gladly welcome them if our pet-friendly room is available.

Our location offers a serene and tranquil setting, yet remains easily accessible from the motorway, making Aux Prés du Berry an ideal destination for a week-long holiday or a convenient stopover for travelers en route to the South of France and the Mediterranean. We are a 6-hour drive from Calais and just 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. The Limoges and Poitiers airports are both within a 1-1.5 hour drive. Additionally, the main train route from Paris to Toulouse conveniently stops nearby in the towns of Argenton sur Creuse or Chateauroux.

Surrounded by an array of captivating tourist sites, our B&B is perfectly situated. The historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse is a mere 8 km away, while Chateauroux, the capital of Indre (Department 36), is located within 30 km. For nature enthusiasts, the Eguzon lake-park and the Three Lakes district, offering breathtaking views and various water sports activities, are just a short 20-minute drive away. Closer to our location, the Brenne National park is only minutes away. We have an abundance of information available to help you make the most of your stay in our region, and we are more than happy to assist you in any way we can.

Nous avons passé une bonne soirée conviviale.
Si vous cherchez ou dormir en descendant dans le sud, c'est une bonne adresse (également pour parfaire votre anglais...)

Directions

To reach Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, follow these directions:

1. Exit the A20 motorway at junction 17.
2. Look for signs indicating Montlucon, La Chatre, Neuvy Saint-Sepulcre, D927.
3. Take the D927 road and continue for approximately 6 km.
4. Look for a small lake on the right side of the road.
5. Just after the lake, you will see an off-road on your right, which is the D30 road towards Chavin.
6. Spot our sign for Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast and turn onto the D30 road.
7. Drive for 4 km until you reach a stop sign.
8. At the stop sign, turn right into the hamlet of Bonnilly.
9. If you miss the turn on the D927, you will pass a small airport on the right. The next road after that is the new D40 road towards Chavin.
10. The hamlet of Bonnilly is the first one you come across. Make sure not to overshoot it.
11. Once in Bonnilly, continue straight on the road. We are the third street on the right.
12. Look for a sign indicating our location and the Gites de France sign.
13. The road leading to our Bed & Breakfast is quite small, but keep going until you reach the end.
14. You will see our sign and the Gites de France sign at the end of the road.
