Within a short 5-minute stroll, you can easily access local amenities such as a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, post office, chemist, and delightful restaurants and bars.

Nestled alongside the idyllic La Rhue stream, just a brief 5-minute walk away, you can indulge in fishing or paddle around in its gentle currents. This hidden gem is a serene oasis of natural beauty, where you can often find yourself in blissful solitude. Venture a little further on a leisurely 5-minute stroll and you will discover the captivating first waterfall of Egliseneuve. Continue your exploration and stumble upon another breathtaking cascade.

For a refreshing swim, you'll find crystal-clear lakes within a convenient 15-minute drive. One of our personal favorites is Lac de Lastioulles, offering a picturesque setting with options to rent sailing boats, canoes, windsurfing boards, and pedal boats. Additionally, there are several outdoor swimming pools in the vicinity, ensuring you have plenty of opportunities to cool off during your stay. At Maison van Stijn, we also provide a seasonal swimming pool during the summer, measuring 4 meters in diameter, offering enjoyment for both young and old. Rest assured, we diligently maintain and monitor the water quality of our pool on a daily basis.

Each of our three gites is self-contained, invitingly comfortable, and tastefully furnished. We have ensured high-quality sanitary fittings and electricity throughout. The beds are adorned with cozy 4-season duvets, while the mattresses are of exceptional quality. We have also taken great care to select allergen-friendly flooring, bed linen, and pillows, catering to guests with sensitivities. Furthermore, we meticulously clean the gites to ensure a pristine environment. Each gite boasts its own terrace, complete with ample garden furniture, and guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the entirety of our beautiful garden. The tap water at Maison van Stijn is sourced from natural springs and is even said to be more delicious than bottled water!

Parking is available in our private car park, conveniently located near your gite. Our gites are available for rent year-round, including during the winter sports season. Additionally, we offer our workshop for rental, ideal for those seeking a space for one or more days. And to enhance your holiday experience, we provide a delightful Table d’Hote service, where we prepare a delectable 4-course dinner for you and join you as your dinner companions.

Ik had het voorrecht om een middagje proef te draaien in de houtgestookte sauna bij Maison van Stijn (Égliseneuve-d'Entraique).
De afgelopen maanden zijn ze namelijk druk bezig geweest om een inspirerende buiten ruimte te creëren, een wellnessdeck met daarbij een houtgestookte sauna.

Zodra je de prachtige sauna instapt ervaar je een oase van rust.
De houtgestookte kachel geeft natuurlijke warmte af en deze hoge stralingswarmte voelt prettig aan. Dit is echt een authentieke saunabeleving.
