Description for B&B:
Welcome to "Belle de Flandre," the heart of Bailleul, a charming city in the countryside. In 2013, Isabelle and Philippe celebrated 90 years in this Flemish house, and now they welcome you to their tastefully renovated rooms every weekend. The first room, "The Carillon," offers stunning views of the belfry, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The second room, "Gargantua," is named after the carnival, an event you shouldn't miss. Each room is equipped with a comfortable double bed (1.60m * 2m), bedside tables with lamps, a spacious wardrobe and dresser, a TV, an electric kettle for your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate cravings, a luggage rack, and a private bathroom complete with a toilet, shower, and sink. We provide fresh towels for your convenience.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast served in our glass room overlooking the beautiful garden. During chilly mornings, the wood stove will keep you cozy and warm.
"Belle de Flandre" is open to guests from 17:00 on Fridays until 10:00 on Mondays.
Conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the train station and approximately 2km from the A25 motorway, we are within easy reach of Ypres, Lille, Dunkirk, Hazebrouck, and St. Omer, all within a 30-minute drive.
While there are several restaurants in Bailleul that can satisfy your lunch and dinner cravings, don't miss the opportunity to experience the traditional Flemish taverns along the Belgian border.
The price for each room, accommodating two persons, is 65 euros.
