The accommodation at la Gigude is modest yet cozy. It features a spacious living room on the ground floor with a welcoming fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen in the American style. On the first floor, there is a bathroom and three bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate 9 people. Two of the bedrooms have a double and single bed, while the third bedroom has three single beds. Additionally, the apartment on the third floor offers two extra bedrooms and another bathroom, perfect for accommodating 6 people.La Gigude is not just a place to stay, but also a working farm with a lively atmosphere. It is home to 30 goats and 60 sheep, and their milk is skillfully crafted into delicious cheese that is sold at local markets. Visitors are more than welcome to come and visit the farm, where they can taste and purchase our delectable cheese.
Conveniently located next to the intersection of the two main footpaths in the Hautes Corbieres, the GR36 and the Sentier Cathare, La Gigude boasts an exceptional geographic position. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside and stunning views, you can guarantee a peaceful and unforgettable holiday experience.

Directions
To get to Couiza from Carcassonne, take the D118 and turn left onto the D613. Then, make a right onto the D14, passing through Rennes les Bains, Bugurach, Cubieres, and Soulatge. After the village, there will be a sign for "La Gigude" on the right. Take a right turn and continue for 1.5 kilometers.
From Perpignan, take the D117 and continue past the airport towards Estagel and Maury. At Maury, turn right onto the D19. Then, at Cucugnan, make a left onto the D14. Just before reaching Soulatge, there will be a sign for "La Gigude" on the left. Take a left turn and then a right turn for 1.5 kilometers.
