La Ruche Bed & Breakfast is a charming French house from the 19th Century situated in the picturesque village of Chaillac.

We are open year-round and offer 5 cozy and traditionally decorated Double and King rooms.

Whether you're staying for a week, a night, or just passing through on your way from northern France to the Mediterranean, Chaillac is conveniently located a short drive away from the A20 motorway and in close proximity to two airports, Limoges and Poitiers.

Chaillac is a beloved destination for visitors, as it is a family-oriented village nestled in a beautifully preserved area of France, boasting numerous attractions, lakes, forests, and stunning countryside scenery. The magnificent Château Guillaume is also nearby.

Within Chaillac, you will find a variety of restaurants, bars, a bakery, delicatessen, and other local amenities. La Ruche also features an on-site Tea room, open five days a week during daylight hours.

English is spoken at La Ruche, and we are continuously improving our French language skills, thanks to the support of our local school, village friends, and children.
