Description for B&B:
Come and unwind in the beautiful region of Sud-Goëlo, known for its stunning sandy beaches and the opportunity to explore the sea or enjoy walks along the custom coastal pathways of GR34. Immerse yourself in the authentic beauty of Brittany, with its rugged landscapes and rich coastal history. Our welcoming Anglo-French family, who have traveled extensively, invite you to stay with us. We offer double, triple rooms, and family suites (accommodating up to 6 people) with a small lounge area, television, and Wi-Fi throughout. In total, we have 3 family suites or 6 rooms, accommodating approximately 15 people. One of our featured suites is the Pierre Loti Suite, consisting of two large rooms, La Bleue and La Rose, accommodating up to 6 people. The suite includes a spacious, modern shower room located between or next to the rooms. The rooms can be booked together as a family suite, or if only one room is booked, the other room remains unoccupied, ensuring the bathroom remains private under one booking.
We also have the Maisonnette, a two-room suite called Nid d'Amour, which accommodates up to 5 people. The upstairs bedroom features a large double bed and a single bed, while the downstairs lounge can be converted into a comfortable double bedroom with a double mattress and memory topper. The suite also has a modern shower bathroom on the ground floor. If you prefer not to use the stairs, the Maisonnette can be used as a double room with the bathroom on the same level. It has its own private entrance and a table, chairs, and relaxer chairs in our courtyard garden for you to enjoy the outdoor spaces.
Our smaller family suite, Rousseau-La Perouse, includes a double bedroom called La Chambre Verte (usually set up with 2 single beds or with an additional 3rd single bed upon request) and another bedroom called La Chambre Marine with a large double bed and a TV. The suite has a functional private bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Situated on the second floor, you have the entire floor to yourselves. This suite is also ideal for families, friends, or couples if only one room is booked.
We often welcome tourists, business travelers, walkers, cyclists, and large groups who book several rooms at a time. In the low season, prices start from 55 euros for one person, 65 euros for a couple, 75 euros for three people sharing a room, and 85 euros per night for the 2-room suite/maisonnette, including breakfast. Please inquire or check our price table for prices during mid or high seasons. We offer the option of evening meals to share moments together and enjoy Breton, French, or international cuisine. Our menus range from 15 to 35 euros per person, including drinks. We frequently incorporate organic fruits and vegetables from our garden (in season) and local produce. Upon request and subject to availability, guests may use our family kitchen to prepare occasional meals, or utilize the tea/coffee facilities in the guest rooms. Additionally, we provide a fully equipped summer kitchen in our large garden, complete with fridges for each suite/room, a gas cooker/oven, a microwave, and a gas BBQ.
To summarize, our accommodations include:
- Chambre Rose: double or triple room with a large double bed (1.7 x 2m) and a single bed
- Chambre Bleue: double or triple room with a double bed (1.4 x 2m)
- Maisonnnette (ground floor): double room with a double bed (1.4 x 2m) or as a lounge
- Maisonnnette (top floor): double or triple room with a double bed (1.60 x 2m) and a single bed

Our charming south-facing walled courtyard garden is filled with beautiful plants such as roses, lavenders, hydrangeas, wisteria, and herbs. You are welcome to have breakfast al fresco on warm days. Additionally, our large private garden offers sunbeds, various dining areas including a long table for up to 12-15 people with a BBQ area. There are several seating areas where you can relax with a book or a refreshing drink. Children can enjoy outdoor games, a wooden swing, and observe our sheep, hens, and two friendly cats at the end of the garden.
Our house is conveniently located approximately 400m from the village center, a 900m (15-minute walk) to the nearest beach and the famous GR34 coastal pathway. Several other sandy beaches are just a short 2-5 minute drive away. Throughout the year, the local area hosts numerous tourist activities and traditional festivals showcasing local specialties, such as scallops, cod, chestnuts, Breton dancing, sailors songs, and Celtic music. You can truly enjoy a wonderful holiday, experiencing the best of both land and sea, and immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Brittany.
We are also situated between two other attractive regions of North Brittany, the Emerald Coast and the Pink Granite Coast, both approximately 25-45 minutes away by car. Interesting towns like Rennes and Saint Malo are just 1.15 hours away, while Mont Saint Michel can be reached in 1.30 hours. Additionally, our region of Goelo offers charming seaside towns and villages like Paimpol, Plouha, Pordic, Binic, and Saint Quay Portrieux, all located nearby. We highly recommend a visit to the lovely Island of Bréhat, the first registered national heritage natural site in France, accessible by boat from either Binic or Saint Quay Portrieux.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for special seasonal offers or discounts for longer stays. We wish you a fantastic holiday and hope to welcome you soon.
