Description for B&B:

Welcome to La Tisserande, a charming historical stone guesthouse nestled in the heart of Brittany. With a deep appreciation for the past and a vision for the future, our whimsical, inspired, and serene retreat is hidden among woodlands, rivers, oceans, and ancient mountains. La Tisserande, the Weaver of Water, eagerly awaits the arrival of solo travelers, couples, families, and friends.

Whether you are embarking on an adventure to discover the myths and legends of this magical region, seeking a romantic getaway surrounded by nature, or simply yearning for a moment of peace, self-care, and forest-bathing, La Tisserande is here to bring your wishes to life. Our XVII century flax-farm and linen-weavery serves as the perfect hub for exploring the region in every direction.

But your vacation at La Tisserande goes beyond personal fulfillment. 100% of the proceeds from your stay support a nonprofit organization called La SOURCE Center for Research & Creation, the world's first international and interdisciplinary research center dedicated to Love-Studies. Your investment in your own adventure directly contributes to ongoing research, making it our "raison d'être" or reason for being.

Here, imagination thrives as there is a universe of secret beauty waiting for you behind every tree, river, and moment. We also value harmony with the earth, promoting an ecological lifestyle and a deeper understanding of our shared home - this marvelous planet.

Our team consists of four passionate coordinators, along with a mini-dog, three hens, a duck, and eleven goats. We are here to serve you, thereby serving the project, and ultimately, serving the world.

Renovated in 2012 using ecological and natural materials, our Maison d'Hôtes de Charme offers luxurious accommodations. We provide high-quality hotel linens from Linvosges, washed in organic, body-safe, and earth-safe detergents. Restful sleep is ensured with our high-end memory foam mattresses, leaving you relaxed and energized for the day ahead. We also offer organic, body-safe, and earth-safe soap, body wash, and customized local shampoo.

Choose from our variety of accommodations, including a duplex suite for three people, a duplex suite for four people, a double bedroom suite for four people, and an independent fully equipped cottage for two to three people. All rooms grant open access to our heated pool.

We are delighted to share our large, somewhat wild garden with you. It is filled with sweet, quiet corners perfect for picnicking or lounging in the sun. As a traditional French "corps de ferme," our property is shaped around a central meeting place within the stone buildings.

Additionally, our Hearth (a combination of Earth and Heart) is available for all to share. Twice a week, we offer Table d'Hôtes, and during the summer, we often cook directly with a wood fire in our summer kitchen. Apart from these occasions, feel free to utilize this space to prepare your own meals.

At La Tisserande, we strive to provide an unforgettable experience that goes beyond a mere vacation. Join us in supporting a worthy cause while indulging in the beauty and tranquility of Brittany.
