Located just 1 km away from Fontainebleau Forest, Le Clos du Tertre is a charming farmhouse that has been beautifully renovated. This historic property was built before the French Revolution and offers a unique and authentic atmosphere. Situated only 12 km from Fontainebleau, Nemours, and Milly la Forêt, it is in close proximity to several renowned climbing sites including "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons".On the first floor of the farmhouse, you will find three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own private shower room. Downstairs, there is a spacious 27 m2 room at the disposal of guests, equipped with a mini fridge, sink, and microwave for your convenience.
For breakfast and Table d'Hôtes, you will be welcomed into your hosts' living room, where you can enjoy delicious meals while overlooking the beautiful bay window. In addition to the farmhouse, your hosts also manage a separate country gite on the property, which can accommodate up to four guests.
Your hosts are fluent in English and provide a private car park for your convenience. Please note that pets are not accepted at this property.

Located just 1 km away from the enchanting Fontainebleau Forest, and a short distance of 12 km from the charming towns of Fontainebleau, Nemours, and Milly la Forêt, our gite is perfectly situated for nature lovers and adventurers. Nestled next to two internationally renowned climbing sites, namely "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons", this old farmhouse, built before the French Revolution, has been beautifully restored. Attached to the landlords' house, who also manage three charming guest rooms, "Le Gîte Clos du Tertre" offers a cozy living-dining room with a fireplace and television. The fully equipped American kitchen provides all the amenities you need. With two comfortable bedrooms and a modern shower room with a toilet, our gite ensures a comfortable and relaxing stay. Our hosts are fluent in English, making communication easy for international guests. You can conveniently park your vehicle in our private car park. Please note that we do not accept pets.Reviews

Directions
To get to the destination, which is 12 km South-West of Fontainebleau, you have several options for transportation.
By Car:
Option 1: If you are coming from the A6 Motorway, take Exit N°14, which is labeled "Ury - Malesherbes." From there, turn right onto N152 and drive towards Orléans. Continue driving for 3 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
Option 2: If you are starting from Fontainebleau, go to the "Obélisque round-about" and take the N152 road towards Orléans. Drive for 12 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
Once you are in La Chapelle la Reine, at the second traffic light on N152 (driving towards Orléans), turn left onto D16 towards "Nemours-Larchant." Then take the second left road, and you will find Le Clos du Tertre at stand N°6 on this road called "Chemin des Vallées."
By Train:
The nearest train station is Saint-Pierre les Nemours Train Station, which is located 12 km away. If you inform your hosts in advance, they might be able to pick you up from this train station. Another option is the Fontainebleau Train Station, which is 15 km away.
