Description for B&B:

The Castle River was constructed in 1577 by Gaston de l'Isle on the site of a former defensive high camp established by Charlemagne. In the 19th century, the renowned architect Viollet le Duc rebuilt the castle. Positioned on a vantage point, it offers panoramic views of the picturesque Dordogne valley and is surrounded by 59 hectares of vineyards. The 5 guest rooms, located in the Renaissance wing, boast elegant furnishings, well-appointed bathrooms and toilets. Each room is tastefully decorated with meticulous attention to detail, providing an atmosphere of relaxation, charm, and refined luxury.
