Description for B&B:
Welcome to our charming old farm, nestled in the scenic Drôme des Collines, just 45 minutes south of Lyon. Situated between Tain l'Hermitage and Valencia, our farmhouse is steeped in history and was once the beloved home of Louis and Bertha, our grandparents. Surrounded by vineyards, including the renowned Crozes-Hermitage, and orchards, our tranquil location offers a chance to reconnect with the beauty of the countryside during a night or longer stay. For generations, our traditional Provencal farmhouse has been a hub of agricultural activity. The memories of hay, wine barrels, farm animals, and the tools used by Louis's grandfather still linger in the air, evoking the essence of our rural past. Today, our wine and fruit farm continues to thrive. Since 2001, we have dedicated ourselves to preserving the character of our family home. Using only natural and traditional materials such as wood, Rhone stones, lime, and clay, we have carefully renovated the property, ensuring that the spirit of the past remains intact.
Gather around our welcoming farm table or bask in the shade of the pine trees during the summer, and you will discover our passion for restoration, decoration, woodworking, and pottery. As true enthusiasts of our region, we take great pride in preparing traditional and regional cuisine, using the bountiful fruits from our own operations and the garden vegetables that our grandfather cherished. Each ingredient is lovingly grown and harvested at the peak of ripeness, resulting in a tantalizing explosion of flavors and culinary delights.
When you stay with us, you will not only feel at ease but also experience the enduring soul and memories that our farmhouse holds. Allow the walls to whisper their stories as you listen to the rich history of this cherished home.
