Welcome to our family-run guesthouse, located in a beautifully restored 19th-century stable set in a hectare of lush greenery. Nestled between the sea and countryside, our guesthouse is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area with its network of walks and attractions. Just a short 20-minute drive from Etretat and Fecamp, and 40 minutes from Honfleur, our fully equipped cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people.Experience the pleasure of staying in the charming Orval lodgings, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this peaceful Norman retreat, located near one of the most stunning coastlines in Normandy, Etretat. Our cottage has been awarded 3 ears by Gîtes de France, ensuring a high standard of quality and comfort.
The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances, including a washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The ground floor also includes a spacious living room and lounge area, a bathroom with a double sink and shower, and a separate toilet. For your entertainment, there is a TV and WiFi available.
On the first floor, you will find various bedrooms, including one with 5 beds, another with 3 beds, one with 4 beds, and a mezzanine bed. There is also a bathroom with a double sink and shower, as well as a separate toilet. The cottage is heated with electricity, but also features a cozy wood-burning stove (wood provided).
Outside, there is a playground and a petanque court where you can enjoy some outdoor fun. Within a few minutes' drive, you can reach the most beautiful beaches in the Caux region and explore the wild coastline. Additionally, there are several museums nearby, including the Benedictine Museum, Arsene Lupin Museum, Museum of New Lands, and Museum of Cider. You can also visit the Malraux Museum, which showcases flax, as well as enjoy activities such as fishing, golfing in Etretat, mountain biking on the designated trails, and water sports at Lake Caniel in Fécamp.
For those who enjoy horse riding or trying their luck at the casinos, both Etretat and Fecamp offer these amenities. The vibrant city of Le Havre is also within reach. Normandy is a region rich in activities, and our guesthouse in Orval provides the perfect base to explore and enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer.
