Description for B&B:
Fréderique and Jacques were captivated by this architecturally stunning 1950s house nestled in the enchanting Minervois region. They made the decision to transform it into a charming guest house.Situated on the outskirts of a historic village in the upper Minervois, just a stone's throw away from the medieval city of Carcassonne, the house boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. From the fields adorned with vineyards and olive groves to the majestic Alaric and Pyreneen mountains in the distance, the scenery is truly remarkable.
To ensure a comfortable stay, there are three beautifully appointed and climate-controlled bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. For those seeking a more romantic and unique experience, there is also the option of staying in "La bohème," an authentic Prague caravan.
Having previously worked as art gallery owners, Fréderique and Jacques will delight in sharing their collection of contemporary sculptures and artwork with you.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a majestic magnolia tree, setting the tone for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Take a leisurely stroll through the park, surrounded by towering cedar trees.
To satisfy your culinary desires, you can indulge in a "table d'hôte" meal featuring the authentic flavors of the region, such as foie gras, farm poultry, and fresh trout from nearby streams. Complementing these delectable dishes are the finest wines the Minervois and Cabardès regions have to offer.
Our three bedrooms are tastefully decorated with different themes, accommodating various group sizes. Each room is equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.
The "Clos du Moulin" provides a private car park for guests, and bicycles are available for exploring the tranquil country roads that wind through the village and its surroundings.
Breakfast is a delightful affair, featuring homemade pastries and jams, which can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the charming veranda from 8:30 am.
