Welcome to Idiartekoborda, a charming farm house that dates back to the seventeenth century. This old barn was transformed into a cozy retreat in 1832 and underwent a renovation in 2004. Our spacious bedrooms feature exposed beams and stone, and each room comes with a private bathroom. Enjoy the tranquility of our surroundings as you take in the magnificent view of the ever-changing colors of the Basque mountains.

From our property, you can admire the famous Mont Hautza and the walls of Iparla. If you're in the mood for adventure, Sandrine's delicious homemade breakfast will fuel you up for a day of hiking or mountain biking. Her husband, Jean-Paul, will gladly recommend scenic routes for you to explore.

In the nearby area, you'll find the picturesque village of Baïgorry, and just 50km away, you can experience the contrast between the impressive peaks of the vineyard and Iparla Irouleguy and the stunning coastline. Countless hiking trails are available for all skill levels, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the forests and the preserved flora and fauna of Iraty Hayri.

Just 10km away, you'll reach St Jean Pied de Port, a popular stop on the St Jacques de Compostela pilgrimage route via the pass of Roncesvalles. The Basque region is known for its colorful and charming villages such as Ainhoa, Espelette, Sare, Itxassou, as well as hidden gems like Banca Urepel. Close to the Spanish border, you can indulge in the local cuisine and experience the unique charm of the area.
