Welcome to "Au fil de l'eau", a charming 17th-century cottage that has been completely renovated. Situated just a few kilometers away from the City of Carcassonne and the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Canal du Midi, this enchanting cottage offers a truly unique experience.Nestled at the entrance of Montolieu, a picturesque book village, and located on the banks of a beautiful river, this character-filled cottage is the perfect retreat. The living/dining room features a cozy fireplace and a comfortable convertible sofa. The fully equipped kitchen boasts a stunning stone vault and a large bay window that opens up to a sunny terrace of 30m2. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the river and the garden.
The cottage offers two double bedrooms, one with a 1m60 bed and the other with a 1m40 bed. The bathroom is equipped with an authentic bathtub, an Italian shower, and a WC.
Stay connected with our free WIFI connection, and make use of the barbecue on the terrace, play a game of petanque, or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even try your hand at trout fishing right on site.
