Description for B&B:
The original house dates back to the Gallo-Roman times, as demonstrated by the discovery of tiles, pottery, and amphorae in the surrounding area. La Grange in Negro is a stone farmhouse that represents the typical architecture of the region, featuring vaulted rooms on the ground floor, Roman tiles, a covered terrace, and thick walls to provide a cool environment. In the spacious garden, partially shaded, guests will find sun loungers, hammocks, and garden furniture to enjoy the serene scenery.
The property offers three large bedrooms, each with its own unique character. The Mediterranean Room, Ardèche Room, and Africa Room provide comfortable accommodations.
A large common room with vaulted ceilings is at the guests' disposal, featuring a cozy lounge area, a dining area, and tourist information.
The Mediterranean Room, located on the ground floor, can accommodate two adults (double bed) and two young children (extra bed). It is decorated in a Mediterranean style, with a predominant blue and white color scheme. The room has its own bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, and direct access to the garden.
The Ardèche Room, situated on the first floor, was once a silk room and still retains its corner fireplaces. It offers a double bed and a single bed, adorned with various landscapes representing the seasons of Ardèche. The room has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The Africa Room, also located on the first floor, overlooks the terrace and is filled with natural light through its generously large arched windows. It can accommodate two people with a double bed and has a shower room with a toilet on a mezzanine level. The room is decorated with souvenirs from our trips to Africa.
Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast consisting of hot drinks, fruit juice, bread, brioche, butter, jam, honey, yogurt, and fresh fruit, all available in unlimited quantities.
