Description for B&B:

The Tour Carrée offers a private sitting room with access to the fortifications, located at the top of the tower. Meanwhile, the Tour Ronde is a family-friendly suite that includes a main bedroom, a secondary bedroom, and a bathroom in between. The table dhôtes features a variety of farm produce, ensuring that vegetarians are also catered to. The focus is on serving healthy and delicious food, with a regional, traditional, and Mediterranean cuisine. During the winter, stews are often prepared in a pot hanging from the pot crane over the fire. When the weather allows, dinner is served in the courtyard, under the arches. Otherwise, it is served in the baronnial hall, featuring a 7-meter long table, large bay windows, and a Renaissance fireplace. In the coldest of winters, the table is set in the old kitchen, complete with a collection of antique kitchen utensils and an inglenook fireplace.

Description for Gite

The self-contained cottage, formerly a bakery and stables of the château, offers a private terrace and garden, situated on one side of the château's central courtyard. Guests can enjoy a large swimming pool (16.64m x 6.68m) shared with other château guests, as well as access to the 55-hectare nature reserve. The cottage features two spacious bedrooms and a smaller one, each with private bathrooms. The old bakery houses a well-equipped kitchen and dining room, while the sitting room provides access to the terrace and garden. The cottage is tastefully furnished to match the high standard of the château, and underfloor heating is available throughout.

Directions

To find the château, locate the 16th fold on Michelin map 79. Regardless of your starting point, make your way towards Tournon d'Agenais, which is located 15 km south of Fumel on the river Lot. Upon reaching the roundabout below Tournon, take the road signposted for Agen/Toulouse. After a short distance, you will come across a left turn towards Courbiac, which is approximately 4 km away. Once in Courbiac, pass by the church and at the crossroads, turn right in the direction of Montaigu. Travel for approximately one kilometer, and you will see a private drive on the left, which descends to the château.
