This charming cottage is situated in a quiet forest location directly on Lake Nissången, just 15 km from the center of Malung in Dalarna. It is conveniently located 350 km from Stockholm, 420 km from Göteborg, and 710 km from Malmö.

The cottage offers a stunning view of the lake and has a spacious sun deck facing south and west. This deck provides a 180-degree view of the lake, perfect for supervising any swimming children. You can easily enter the lake for swimming directly from the property, and there is a nearby sandy beach that is ideal for small children.

The cottage itself has a charmingly primitive feel, as there is no electricity. Lighting is provided by candles and oil lamps, and drinking water is collected from a well on the lot.

Inside, the living room features a cozy fireplace and a dining table placed by large windows, offering magnificent views over the lake. In the back of the room, there is a double bed. The main bedroom has two bunk beds of the old Dalecarlian type, accommodating a total of four beds. Additional twin beds are available in a small bedroom in the boathouse building.

The kitchen, although lacking running water, is equipped with a wood stove, LPG stove and oven, and an LPG fridge.

On the beach, there is a log house that contains a wood-fired sauna, a simple camping shower, and a relaxation room with breathtaking views over the lake. There is also a sundeck in two levels and a connecting pier into the lake. The boathouse contains a woodshed, a rowboat, and two bicycles. Safety vests in adult and children sizes are also provided. Additionally, there is a separate privy with a view of the lake.

For fishing enthusiasts, the lake offers good opportunities to catch perch and pike.

During the Mid- and High seasons (late June, July, and August), the minimum rental period is two weeks, with a Saturday changeover day.

The weekly rates, which include firewood, LPG gas, a rowboat, and two standard bicycles, vary depending on the season. In the High season, the rates range from SEK 6900 to 7600, and in the Low season, they range from SEK 5500 to 6200.

Guests are expected to leave the house neat and clean, and cleaning materials are provided. Additional services such as final cleaning, bed linen, and towels are available.
