Description for Gite

The rental period for each of our two "gîtes" is one week, starting from Saturday 12:00 PM and ending the following Saturday at 10:00 AM. Please note that the specific dates of each tariff period may vary depending on the calendar year.

Both of our gîtes are fully equipped and offer the following amenities: a terrace, a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed (160cm width), a living and dining area with a table and a two-place sofa bed, a mezzanine with two single beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet.

Additionally, each gîte provides ample storage space, reversible air conditioning, a TNT flat screen TV, all necessary small household appliances for cooking and cleaning, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and bed linen and towels are provided. Furthermore, guests have access to free parking and a hanging out area conveniently located adjacent to the guesthouse. As an added bonus, guests can enjoy complimentary access to the swimming pool owned by the host and their family.

To reach Casa Santa Maria from Bastia, follow these directions:
1. Travel through the center of the village of Macinaggio along the harbor.
2. After leaving the port, continue until you reach the high school group (approximately 100m).
3. Immediately after the high school group, turn right.
4. Follow the paved path for nearly 600m.
5. Be cautious when passing the first cross as visibility may be limited.
6. After 50m, you will pass a yellow building on the right, which is an old barn.
7. Leave the paved road and turn left onto the stony path.
8. Follow the stony path, which will lead you to Casa Santa Maria.
9. Casa Santa Maria is the first yellow stucco house on the right.
10. Park your vehicle in the parking lot.

If you are coming from the west coast of the cape (Centuri, Ersa, Rogliano), follow these directions after arriving in Macinaggio:
1. Head towards the school group.
2. Before reaching the school group, turn left.
3. Follow the same directions as mentioned above to reach Casa Santa Maria.
