The house, which was already standing during the time of Louis XIV, was in complete disrepair when we purchased it in 1974. Over the course of 30 years, we dedicated ourselves to extensive renovation and hard work, along with immense bravery, to transform it into what it is today. Our dedication and efforts have been acknowledged by the esteemed "Gites de France," and we have earned the distinguished rating of "3 epis de charme."Our establishment comes highly recommended by several reputable sources, including "Rivages des Maison dhôtes de charme," "Le guide du Routard Provence," "Le guide Gantié," "Le petit Futé," and even the prestigious English guide "Allastair Sawdays Special places to Stay" and "Mountains of Europe."
During the summer months, we offer a barbecue for your enjoyment. Additionally, we are capable of providing meals for groups larger than 10 people (except for July and August), so please feel free to inquire for more details. Whether you are hosting a family gathering, a business meeting, or engaging in sports activities with friends, we have the capacity to accommodate 10 to 12 individuals.

Directions
If you are coming from the north (Grenoble), head towards Gap (either via N85 or N94) and then continue towards Barcelonnette. The journey from Gap to our house usually takes around an hour.
If you are coming from the south (Aix/Sisteron/Tallard), take the A51 motorway and then it will take approximately 45 minutes to reach our house after exiting the motorway.
To reach our house via the Gap-Barcelonnette road (D900), travel 10 km from Lauzet-Ubaye and pass "la frésquiere". Instead of turning right towards Méolans village, continue for another 500 m on the D900 and then turn left towards "les Means".
