This bed and breakfast has undergone careful renovations to maintain its authentic rustic character and charm, while ensuring modern comfort in all of its accommodations. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Mount Ventoux and indulge in comfortable self-catering options. The location offers a plethora of tourism opportunities and visits in the beautiful landscapes and lavender fields of the Luberon area. Conveniently situated near Avignon and Chateauneuf du Pape, guests can also embark on a wine route tour and savor unforgettable wine tastings of Cotes du Rhone wines. Access to Avignon is made easy by the fast TGV train, with a travel time of only 2 hours and 40 minutes from Paris and 3 hours from CDG airport. Surrounded by Cotes du Rhone vineyards, the Mas provides a tranquil and secluded atmosphere. The owners, Charles and Andrée Barail, are fluent in English and reside in the main house. Guest accommodations include two self-contained studio apartments and two larger two-bedroom apartments, each equipped with private WC, shower, and kitchen facilities. Please be aware that to ensure our guests' privacy, we have intentionally chosen not to place any signs indicating the entrance to the Mas on our driveway.
If you are coming from the A7 motorway, take the Orange Sud exit (#22) and follow the signs leading to Avignon. Afterward, turn left onto the D 950 road towards Vaison-la-Romaine & Carpentras. Disregard the initial sign for Jonquières and continue on the D 950. Upon reaching a roundabout, follow the sign for Jonquières. Just before entering the village, turn right into the driveway of the Mas, known as "Chemin de l'Escarrat." This driveway is immediately after passing the Sotalis company, precisely 1 kilometer after the roundabout.
If you are approaching from Orange, proceed through the village of Jonquières in the direction of Carpentras (Avenue de la Libération). As you near the exit of the village, take a left into a driveway that is lined by the walls of the Sotalis company. At the entrance of the road, you will notice a "dead end road" sign. The Mas is located approximately 400 meters along this driveway.
