Description for B&B:

Nestled in a beautifully restored old barn, this charming self-catering cottage is made of rustic country stones and can accommodate up to four people. It offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, while still being conveniently close to the Lake of Causse, where you can enjoy various water activities such as swimming, rowing, and fishing. Additionally, it is only 5km away from the bustling town of Brive La Gaillarde.

Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac path, the cottage is part of a collection of buildings surrounding a courtyard on a 15-hectare estate. This provides ample opportunities for safe walks in the nearby forest. The owners reside in a separate house on the other side of the courtyard.

The cottage features a spacious living area of 44m², which includes a well-equipped kitchen and opens onto a terrace. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140cm) and a child's bed, and another with two single beds (90cm). The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and there is a separate toilet. The cottage is heated with electricity and includes amenities such as a gas hotplate, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, and a high chair for babies. Outside, there is a lovely terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue.

For shopping needs, there is a commercial center just 3km away, and the town center of Brive La Gaillarde is a short 5km drive.

There are plenty of attractions to visit in the surrounding area, including picturesque villages like Donzenac, Turenne, Collonges-la-Rouge, and Curemonte. The slate quarry of Travassac and the Pompadour National Stud Farm are also worth exploring. Additionally, there are numerous prehistoric sites such as Lascaux, as well as the village of Rocamadour and the Padirac Gulf, both located 50km away. Regional markets, festivals, and art exhibitions add to the cultural richness of the area.
