Description:
Description for B&B:
Canel is encompassed by 20 hectares of organic farmland, ancient woodlands, vineyards, plum orchards, and breathtaking vistas. The chateau has a rich history of farming, including cows, calves, chickens and eggs, vineyards and wine production, plums and prunes, as well as flour and bread. Currently, there are only three cats on the premises, but by summer, we may introduce chickens again for fresh eggs in the morning for breakfast. For breakfast, we typically serve guests on the courtyard terrace, providing a picturesque view of the charming bastide town of Tournon d'Agenais. In the evenings, you can unwind on the terrace while gazing at the magnificent sky.
Each bedroom features a private bathroom equipped with a shower and/or bath, along with a hairdryer and various toiletries. We supply all necessary bed and bath linen, as well as towels for use by the pool.
The swimming pool is accessible throughout the day, every day. Additionally, we have a large trampoline for both kids and parents to enjoy, as well as a table-tennis table set up in the barn.
If desired, we offer a complete 3-course meal upon reservation. Furthermore, we can provide a delightful assortment of cheeses and/or cold meats, accompanied by bread and local wine, on any evening of the week.
Canel is situated between Domaine de Lancement, a local independent wine farmer, and Vin du Tsar, a wine cooperative, both of which consistently receive prestigious awards.
Room rates start from 47.50€ per night, and meals are available for 18€.
