Description:
Description for B&B:
In the late 1800s, the Minervois wine industry experienced a significant transformation with the advent of the Canal du Midi and the introduction of the railway, enabling convenient transportation of their products. As a result, vineyard owners flourished and began constructing magnificent chateaux and elegant mansions.Today, our house stands as a testament to that era, preserving some remarkable elements of its historical charm. The chai, where the wine was carefully stored, reflects the rich winemaking heritage that was overseen by a remarkable lineage of strong-willed women.
Marguerite, the mother of the previous owner, was one such formidable woman who played a pivotal role in managing the wine business.
