The Manor, constructed in the 16th century, was commissioned by Robert de Thumery in 1535 during the reign of François I. It was eventually completed in 1550 under Henri II by Claude de Lorraine, the first Duke of Guise. This historical site often served as a hunting spot for Henri IV. In 1679, a chapel honoring St Peter and St Paul was built on the premises. Later, in 1893, the Windsor family, prominent English industrialists, established the Hermos Manor as their family estate. Conveniently located just 70 minutes away from Paris, the Manor is nestled within a 12-hectare park adorned with various tree species. The park offers enchanting views of the walkway and the lake, creating a serene atmosphere that truly captures the essence of Normandy. The Manor features two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet facilities. The "Peony" room boasts a double bed and two single beds, with a picturesque view overlooking the walkway and the lake. LE LOGIS D'HERMOS can accommodate up to 37 guests and is located within the beautiful 12-hectare park of the Manor of Hermos. Surrounded by expansive gardens, an orchard, and fields, with a lake just 200 meters away, this lodging is housed in a charming 16th-century building.On the ground floor, you will find a spacious 110 square meter room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, a cloakroom, and toilets. Additionally, there is one bedroom for two people and a bathroom specifically designed for disabled guests.
The first floor comprises of nine large rooms, each accommodating between three to five people, and five bathrooms.

To get to your destination, refer to Michelin map N°55 fold N°15. If you are coming from Paris, Rouen, or Caen, take the A13 and then the A28 until you reach junction 13 called "Domaine d’Harcourt." At this junction, turn left onto the D438 and continue for 400 meters. Then, take a right onto the D92 and drive for 1.5 kilometers. If you are coming from Evreux on the D613, turn right at the junction called "Les Quatre Routes" onto the D840 that leads to Le Neubourg. After passing Le Gros Theil, take a left onto the D92 and follow the signs indicating "Hermos." For those coming from Alençon and Bernay, take the A28 until you reach junction N°13, and then follow the instructions provided above.
