Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry extend a warm welcome to you at their exquisite 19th-century Chateau. Located in the charming village of Salechan, nestled at the foothills of the Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored home offers a luxurious and comfortable retreat. Choose from our selection of five spacious and opulent rooms, all equipped with en-suite facilities and boasting breathtaking mountain views.

Built in 1873, this three-story house is set back from the Route Nationale, providing a private and enclosed atmosphere. The front of the house exudes grandeur with its impressive marble columns and balcony. Step inside to discover a sweeping staircase at the heart of the house, original parquet flooring, and a unique marble fireplace in each room, among other delightful features.

Each of our beautiful rooms is named after the picturesque views they offer.

At the front of the house, the Chambre St Julien beckons you to its two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees towards the stunning Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This spacious south-facing room is brimming with character, featuring a lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and an exquisite marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom, equipped with a bath and shower, also opens onto a private south-facing balcony.

Also situated proudly at the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. With its grand balcony and captivating views of Pic du Gar, this centrally located room offers comfort and tranquility. The room boasts a generous size, high ceiling, beautiful wooden floor, and original fireplace, all complemented by tasteful and neutral decor. The en-suite bathroom includes a large walk-in shower that spans the length of the room, with double doors opening onto a private balcony.

We invite you to join us for breakfast in our elegant dining room, adorned with wood paneling. During the summer, the doors can be opened out onto a tiled terrace, creating a truly stunning setting to enjoy your sumptuous continental breakfast and start your day off right.

At the end of the day, we would be delighted to welcome you back for your evening meal. Our dining room, adorned with a Louis 13th chandelier, provides the perfect ambiance to savor the local delicacies. By prior arrangement, you can enjoy aperitifs followed by a three-course meal, expertly prepared by our experienced host. As one of our recent guests exclaimed, our dining room is considered the finest in the area. Your meal will be accompanied by a selection of red or white wine and coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children, we are happy to accommodate earlier dining times to ensure their routines are maintained.
