Description for B&B:
Welcome to our charming B & B, a serene retreat nestled on the edge of a dense forest on the steep slopes of the breathtaking Gorge of the Aveyron river. Just 1 km away, you'll find Villefranche de Rouergue, the historic royal Bastide. From your bedroom, you can enjoy the tranquil sight of the Aveyron river flowing peacefully below, surrounded by a majestic forest of oak and ash trees. The scenic country road of La Baume follows the meandering course of the Aveyron river, winding its way between lush green hills as it leads you to the entrance of the Gorge of the Aveyron, just a leisurely 15-minute walk to the bastide. In the past, the terraces of this picturesque property were adorned with vineyards, and the ancient dwelling perched on the hillside once served as a wine grower's house. Today, you can still enjoy the panoramic view of this breathtaking landscape from the veranda and terraces. The small, terraced gardens provide access to your luminous bedroom, tastefully decorated in soothing pastel tones. The room comfortably accommodates 2 to 3 people and has a private bathroom with a shower and WC.
The living room, equipped with a television, is shared with the owner, allowing for friendly interactions and a homely atmosphere. Outside, you'll find a beautifully landscaped garden with outdoor seating, a barbecue area, and a hammock, perfect for unwinding and taking in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
