Centrally situated in Narbonne's city center, this charming mansion was originally built in the late 19th century by a wine merchant and has recently undergone renovations, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for family living. Guests can easily explore Narbonne on foot, visiting popular attractions such as the cathedral, cloister, museums, Charles Trenet's former residence, the Market Hall, Via Domitia, and the home of three nurses. Additionally, the region offers various opportunities for exploration, including the Bages-Peyriac nature reserve, the scenic Clape mountain range leading to the Mediterranean Sea, the renowned vineyards of Corbières and Minervois, the African Reserve of Sigean, the historic city of Carcassonne, the splendid abbeys of Lagrasse and Fronfroide, and the captivating Cathar castles.On the first floor, there are two spacious and bright suites that combine comfort and tranquility. The "Carnation Poets" suite spans 45m² and features a lovely bedroom with a 160cm double bed, a large wardrobe, antique furniture, and triple glazing for soundproofing. It also includes a bathroom with a spacious bathtub, a hairdryer, and provided towels, as well as a seating area equipped with an office, tourist guides, and an optional 120cm antique bed suitable for a child. The "Lys" suite covers 43m² and offers a generously sized bedroom with a 160cm double bed and a large dresser. Its bathroom contains a shower, a hairdryer, and provided towels, while the seating area is furnished with an office, a small vintage wrought iron sofa, and tourist guides.
The garden features a cozy outdoor seating area, providing the perfect spot to relax amidst the beautiful flowers. For a delightful start to the day, guests can indulge in a rich and refined breakfast served in the lounge from 8:30 am to 10 am. The emphasis is on high-quality organic and locally sourced artisanal products from the Halles market, as well as homemade treats. Un bel endroit idéalement situé près du canal du midi, pour notre périple en vélo.Chambre spacieuse et confortable, petit déjeuner parfait.Nous reviendrons!!!
