Description for Gite

Located in the charming hamlet of Semoussac in the Charente Maritime region of France, "Les Petits Coins" is a delightful retreat that was once a traditional Charentaise village farm. Meticulously restored, this property now offers three picturesque stone cottages and a converted barn apartment for holiday rentals, whether as a gite or on a bed and breakfast basis. Despite being surrounded by serene countryside, the market town of Mirambeau is just a short 5-minute drive away, ensuring convenient access to shops and restaurants.

In addition to the accommodations, we also provide a personalized Cookery School experience for a maximum of four individuals at a time. Our classes are tailored to meet your specific needs, and both Michael and Mary, who have extensive experience in the catering industry, are available to discuss your personal requirements. We are more than happy to arrange meals for your arrival or during your stay, allowing you to fully relax and indulge in the local cuisine.

Nestled within a renowned wine-producing area, the region offers breathtaking rolling landscapes, pristine air, a micro-climate boasting approximately 2700 hours of sunshine per year, and a plethora of idyllic lanes and unspoiled villages. Furthermore, the golden sandy beaches of Royan and St. Georges are just a 35-minute drive away, providing the perfect ingredients for an unforgettable holiday.
