This is a small and charming flat that is well equipped for two people, with the option to accommodate a baby as well. It is perfectly situated near the beautiful Loire river, just a 10-minute walk to the city center and a 20-minute walk to the station. The flat is independent and located on the ground floor of a house from the middle ages. You will have your own terrace and BBQ area in the yard, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There is a free car park nearby for your convenience. This flat is ideal for tourists visiting the stunning LOIRE valley and is also great for cycling enthusiasts, with bikes available for short stays. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as exploring the magnificent castles of the Loire valley, cycling along the Loire bike track, and indulging in the delicious wines produced in the region (the closest vineyards are only 2 kilometers away, easily accessible by foot!).

For a truly central location, why not stay in the vibrant city of Tours? With its abundance of shops, restaurants, and captivating historical and architectural sites, Tours is the perfect base for your adventures. You can easily explore the city on foot from our place, with the added delight of crossing the famous "Pont de fil," a suspended bridge exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists. The experience of crossing this bridge at dawn or sunset is truly enchanting.

Our cozy basement flat, located in a historic Tuffeau house with charming beams, offers a comfortable retreat for your stay. You can relax on your private terrace in the yard and enjoy the southern-facing aspect. The kitchen is separate from the bedroom/living room, and the high-quality convertible sofa provides ample space for dancing to your favorite tunes with the hi-fi sound system.

Bed linen, towels, and teatowels are available upon request for a small fee. The bathroom is well-equipped to meet all your needs, and we provide amenities for babies and young children, including a bed, chair, and crockery. Stay connected with internet access and make use of the provided mobile phone if necessary. Cable TV offers both French and foreign channels for your entertainment.

Conveniently located just one minute away, you will find a large car park, a bus stop, and an array of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The historical neighborhood, situated by the Loire river, is perfect for leisurely walks or bike rides along the "Loire à vélo" cycle track. A beautiful riverside park, complete with tennis grounds, provides a serene setting for jogging or simply relaxing on the lush lawns.

If possible, we would love to welcome you with a glass of the renowned local sparkling wine, VOUVRAY, and perhaps even offer you the opportunity to unwind in our jacuzzi (subject to availability). Bikes are also available for you to explore the city free of charge.

Your independence is assured, as you will have access to the flat and its amenities, including a specific area for bikes and garden furniture, as well as a washing machine.

I am always happy to assist you with anything you may need, such as car rentals, special recommendations, or advice for your visits. If you fancy a relaxing experience, a jacuzzi is also available at my place for a small fee, providing an opportunity to unwind and chat with us (subject to our availability).

Immerse yourself in the fascinating historical environment of this area, with its medieval houses, quaint lanes, troglodyte dwellings, and even the cave-like structure of your own house. The church and the surrounding area create the charming ambiance of a small village. Conveniently, you will find a grocer, baker, butcher, newsagents, and the delightful footbridge to cross the LOIRE just moments away.

Transportation is easily accessible, with a bus stop just 100 meters away. The direct bus number 17 connects to the station and town center, while a 12-minute walk will take you to the tramway, providing additional access to the city center and station. If available, I can also offer to pick you up from the bus/train station or tram stop, or even the airport. Various parking options, mostly free, are located within a maximum of 200 meters.

I can assist you with the directions and provide you with a document. If you are arriving by plane and we happen to be in the vicinity, we will pick you up from the airport. If you are arriving by train, it is a straightforward 20-minute walk, or you can take a direct bus, making it incredibly easy.
