Discover the authentic beauty and attractions of the Lot department at our charming cottage. Located in the picturesque town of Faycelles, our character stone house sits on the banks of the Lot river, offering breathtaking views. Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the region as you explore nearby attractions such as Rocamadour, Padirac, Cahors, Saint-Cirq, Cajarc, and Figeac – the birthplace of Champollion, renowned for its Egyptian heritage.Our spacious lodging can accommodate up to 6 people and features a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and three comfortable bedrooms with double beds. Enjoy the convenience of modern amenities, including a TV, internet access, and a dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen. Step out onto the 60 sqm terrace overlooking the lush park and the inviting swimming pool.
Please note that bed linen is provided, but we do not accept pets.
Getting here is easy – if you're traveling by car, take the A20 from Paris towards Brive and then exit at 56 towards Figeac. If you're coming from Toulouse-Cahors, also take exit 56 towards Figeac. Once in Figeac, follow the signs for "Villefranche de Rouergue" (D 822) and continue for 6 miles until you reach the Madeleine, where you'll find our cottage.
For those arriving by train, Figeac Train Station is only 6 km away and offers daily connections from Paris, Toulouse, Brive, and Aurillac. If you prefer to fly, Rodez airport is 60 km from Figeac, while Toulouse-Blagnac airport is 155 km away.
To make a reservation, please contact us at dubostgerard@orange.fr or call us at 06/79/97/35/04. A deposit of 30% of the total stay, payable by check to Mr. Dubost, must accompany your booking for it to be confirmed. Please note that we do not have credit card facilities, and a deposit will also be required upon arrival, which will be returned to you upon departure.
Rates for a week-long stay (7 nights) for 6 people are as follows:
- From 1 July to 11 July and from 22 August to 31 August: 850 euros
- From 11 July to 22 August: 1050 euros

Our charming gite offers a spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests, encompassing a total area of 120 sqm. Step onto the inviting terrace, spanning 60 m², boasting picturesque views of the park and a sparkling swimming pool measuring 4 x 8 meters. Inside, you'll find 3 cozy bedrooms, each furnished with comfortable 140 beds. The gite features an open-concept American kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals, and a welcoming living room adorned with a fireplace, creating a cozy ambiance. Additionally, the living room is fully equipped with a television for your entertainment. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities such as a dishwasher and washing machine for your convenience. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower, a luxurious bathtub, and a toilet. Directions
When traveling, locate the A20 motorway towards Paris and Toulouse. Take exit 56 towards Figeac, and avoid going towards Faycel Figeac. Instead, take the D822 road for 7 kilometers until you reach Madeleine. After passing the intersection with a marked access, make a left turn.
