Start your day with a delightful breakfast served in the beautiful garden.Situated near the National riding school, golf courses, and famous vineyards with a global reputation, "Le Clos du Bois Brard" provides easy access to exploring the breathtaking Loire Valley and Thouet region by bike.
Originally, the "Clos" was once a part of the ancient woods known as "Bois Bard" and later became the property of M. Fouquet, the financial minister of Louis the 14th, King of France. During the 19th century, the second and third floors were added to this historic estate.
Notably, the esteemed author Honoré De Balzac was a frequent guest of the owner during the 19th century.
