For ages, the names Marie dYvetôt, Anne de Frézeau, Julie de la Lorie have resonated within the walls of our château as these women once held the title of princess of Gizeux. Since 2004, these names have also become the designation for our charming guest house bedrooms.

These rooms are adorned with antique furnishings and feature a comfortable double bed measuring 160*200 (or two beds measuring 80*200 upon request). A cozy fireplace and a private bathroom equipped with a spacious shower, two sinks, and a separate toilet complete the amenities.

Furthermore, two of our bedrooms are conveniently connected by a small corridor, allowing them to be transformed into a perfect family suite.

To start your day on a delightful note, a generous breakfast will be served, including croissants and delectable chocolate bread.

Description for Gite

Our accommodation, named "Contades" after Général Marquis de Contades-Gizeux, is situated within the chateau and has its own separate entrance. This cozy shelter consists of a fully equipped kitchen area on the first floor, complete with hotplates, an oven, and a fridge. There is also a dining room and a spacious library/living room with a comfortable loveseat for you to relax on.

Moving up to the second floor, you will find a bedroom with a double bed measuring 140cm (or two single beds measuring 70cm each), along with a bathroom and a separate toilet. Additionally, if desired, the shelter can provide access to the Julie de la Lorie suite on the first floor. This suite includes a bedroom for two people, a boudoir that can accommodate an extra bed, and a wonderful bathroom.
