Description for Gite
Located in the southern part of the picturesque Loire Valley, just a 2-hour drive from Paris, this enchanting 18th-century cottage has recently undergone a restoration and transformation into three cozy holiday homes, capable of accommodating groups ranging from 6 to 30 people. For those seeking contemporary and bright spaces, Pamoja Liptrap can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Meanwhile, Pamoja Touraine offers a more traditional and charming atmosphere for parties of 2 to 6. Finally, our brand new addition, Pamoja Cooma, is the perfect choice for groups of 8 to 14.
Our location is truly ideal, boasting a serene ambiance by the water, situated right in front of the scenic Lake of Chemillé sur Indrois. The medieval church of Saint Vincent stands proudly nearby, and we are conveniently situated close to the renowned châteaux of the Loire Valley and numerous vineyards. Moreover, our proximity to Paris (2 hours), the Futuroscope of Poitiers (1 hour and 30 minutes), Disneyland Paris, the seaside, and ski slopes (all within a 3-hour range) ensures that there is no shortage of attractions to explore.
Each of our holiday homes offers generous spaces, allowing for independence and privacy, yet can also be joined together, making them ideal for unforgettable vacations with friends or family. The house plans have been thoughtfully designed by architects and a designer, ensuring a harmonious and stylish environment. Additionally, Pamoja Liptrap is wheelchair accessible, offering inclusivity and convenience to all guests.
A delightful 300-meter walk along the lake takes you to the beach, playground, boat rental, restaurant, mini-golf, and fishing spots, providing ample opportunities for recreation and relaxation. For gatherings and special occasions, we offer a convenient "get together" room, perfect for enjoying meals or hosting seminars.
Our holiday homes are not only beautiful, but also well-equipped, with modern amenities and practical features. We provide baby gear, games, toys, and books to ensure a comfortable stay for families with young children. A baby-grand piano, Wi-Fi internet connection, BBQ facilities, outdoor furniture, tennis rackets, fishing rods, pétanque game, a canoe, and bicycle rentals are also available for guests to enjoy. Furthermore, we offer additional services such as arranging meals, cooking lessons, wine tastings, babysitting, and guided tours to enhance your holiday experience.
Our vision for this property was inspired by an idyllic setting, spacious gardens, practical amenities, comfortable furnishings, pleasant lighting, and a commitment to sustainability. With wheelchair accessibility, rainwater collection, the use of local raw materials, and the incorporation of Class A or A+ electrical appliances and lights, we have strived to create a holiday home that harmoniously combines comfort, design, and respect for both others and nature.
Architects, designers, and craftsmen have united their expertise to breathe new life into this stunning location, where tranquility, comfort, design, and a sense of community converge. This has led to the realization of our dream, which we have aptly named "Pamoja," a word derived from Africa that signifies togetherness. We invite you to experience the magic of "Pamoja" and make it your home away from home for your next holiday.
