Auberge Les Liards is located in the Livradois-Forez natural regional park, nestled in a charming area known as the balcony of the Livradois. This name holds true as the location offers breathtaking views of the Auvergne volcano chain from numerous vantage points. Perched on an old volcano at an elevation of 800m, our guesthouse provides a magnificent backdrop, particularly during unforgettable sunsets.

The Livradois region boasts rolling hills, dotted with quaint valleys, small villages, and hamlets. It remains a hidden gem in terms of tourism, offering an authentic experience where one can spend an entire day wandering without encountering another tourist. Instead, you'll encounter nature, tranquility, and picturesque golden villages.

Our comfortable rooms each feature their own private bathroom. We can also connect rooms to accommodate larger families or groups of friends. The guesthouse consists of four rooms and easily accommodates up to 16 people. Two rooms are located on the second floor of the main building and share a cozy sitting lounge. The other two rooms are situated in a separate building, providing perfect views of the Auvergne volcanoes. These rooms have been tastefully renovated using natural and ecological materials, with the Nepal room exclusively utilizing such materials.

Imagine starting your summer mornings with a delightful outdoor breakfast, savoring the view and the melodious songs of numerous birds. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll to visit our charming animals, including sheep, horses, donkeys, geese, rabbits, and even peacocks. If you desire, you can enjoy dinner at our guesthouse (half-board options are also available). Our kitchen primarily utilizes local, fresh ingredients, often sourced from organic producers. During the summer, we organize concerts on the weekends (from July 15th to August 20th, on Saturday and Sunday evenings), taking place on the terrace, weather permitting.
