Welcome to our charming Bed and Breakfast in Charente-Maritime, conveniently located near Rochefort-sur-mer. Situated between the historic city of Rochefort sur Mer and the picturesque Trizay, with its stunning Abbey and Lake du Bois Fleuri, Le Chizé offers you a delightful experience in the heart of Charente-Maritime.Our guest house, consisting of comfortable guest rooms and cozy cottages, is perfectly positioned between La Rochelle-Ile de Ré and Royan, with breathtaking views of Oléron Island, Aix Island, and Isle Madame. Additionally, it is only a short distance from the ancient Roman town of Saintes.
Le Chizé is a beautifully renovated farmhouse, set on a 4-hectare property that was once a flourishing market garden. We welcome you with open arms to experience the traditional charm of a Saintongeaise farmhouse.
Our friendly staff is always available to guide you through the must-see attractions, local specialties, and hidden gems of Charente-Maritime. Whether you're seeking the sun, the sea, or the tranquility of the countryside, our guest house guarantees a delightful stay.
Our spacious guest rooms are tastefully furnished in the elegant Louis Philippe style, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance. Each room is equipped with a comfortable 160 x 200 bed, a private bathroom, and separate toilet facilities. Please note that all of our guest rooms are non-smoking.
