Description:

Description for Gite

Welcome to our charming cottage situated on a spacious plot of 3,500m² along with our main house and an independent guest room. This former barn has been beautifully renovated to offer a comfortable and cozy living space. On the ground floor, you will find a combined living room and kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are two interconnecting rooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other with bunk beds for children, as well as an additional bed in the offset area.

Enjoy the breathtaking mountain landscape from the corner garden, where you can also dine al fresco. Breakfast for 2 or 3 people is available on the same site at our "Chickadees" breakfast service.

Please note that we do not accept pets and payment can be made by check. Additionally, at the end of your stay, we kindly ask you to settle the city tax (€0.34 per person per day, excluding children under 5) and any extra electricity consumption.

We provide a sufficient stock of wood free of charge for the stove, although the main heating is electric. Linen rental is available as an optional service, including single bed sheets (€10), double bed sheets (€15), and towels (€5 per person). Payment for linen rental should be made upon arrival. For your convenience, we offer two options for the end-of-stay cleaning: either you can handle the spring cleaning yourself or, for a fee of €50, we can take care of it.

The Baronnies region has been classified by Natura 2000 as an area of remarkable landscapes. It is home to a Cistercian abbey, a magnificent gulf, excellent cheese producers, and numerous picturesque villages that seem frozen in time. For us, it is a truly magical and rejuvenating place.

The town of Lies is just 8 km away from Bagnère-de-Bigorre, a charming spa town with a farmers market, a spa center (Aquensis), a cinema, a theater, and a swimming pool. In the wider surroundings, you can explore the ski resort of "TOURMALET - LA MONGIE BAREGES" which is 20 kilometers away, visit the Pic du Midi de Bigorre (the observatory of the stars), and explore the city of Lourdes. Our valleys offer ample opportunities for medium and high mountain hikes.

We, Sandra and Eric, invite you to experience the beauty and tranquility of our cottage in the Baronnies region.

Un grand merci à Eric et Sandra pour leur accueil. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, dans un cadre idéal pour se déconnecter un peu de la folie générale...
