Il Monticello is a charming and character-filled stone villa, privately owned and located on the Plascassier hill near Grasse, renowned as the world capital of perfume. Conveniently, it is just a 20-minute drive from the international airport of Nice and a mere 15 minutes away from Cannes. The villa boasts three cozy bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, two of which also feature a terrace. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere make for a delightful stay. Surrounded by an expansive Provencal garden adorned with vibrant flowers and shaded areas, guests can enjoy a stunning view, a large swimming pool, and private parking. Despite its serene ambiance, the villa offers easy access to various amenities and activities, such as seven golf courses, tennis courts, horse riding facilities, shops, and a railway station. Furthermore, high-tech needs are met with broadband internet access available via wireless LAN (WiFi). The hosts fluently speak English and German. Il Monticello
The B&B is well located in a beautiful setting, close to the city but still very quiet. Everything is tastefully decorated. Gucky, the owner, makes you feel at home.
Directions
To get to our house, follow these directions:
1. Exit the A8 tollway at junction 42, while following the signs for Cannes-Centre, Mouans-Sartoux, Mougins, Le Cannet, and Grasse.
2. Take the N85, also known as La Penetrante, in the direction of Grasse.
3. Leave the N85 at the Mouans-Sartoux exit.
4. When you reach the roundabout at the exit, turn right onto the first street, Route de la Roquette, heading towards Mouans-Sartoux.
5. Continue on this street until you reach the end, where you will find a roundabout and a McDonald's on your right.
6. Turn left onto N2085/Avenue de Cannes.
7. Keep driving on this street, passing a small roundabout located just after the La Strada movie theatre.
8. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto Avenue Marcel Joumet.
9. Continue until you come across a railway crossing.
10. Immediately after crossing the railway, turn left and take the D404 in the direction of Plascassier and Valbonne.
11. After the second curve, you will leave Mouans-Sartoux and see a city limits sign. Look for a small concrete lane separator in the middle of the road and turn left onto Chemin du Plan.
12. After traveling 1.5 km, the street name will change to Chemin du Collet de St Marc.
13. Keep going until you reach number 77 on your right, just after a hangar/shed on the left side of the road.
14. Take the lane and drive all the way up for 200 meters.
15. Our house, an old stone house, will be at the end of the lane on the left side.
