In 2017, Sakura Guesthouse was established with the aim of providing comfortable accommodation to guests from around the globe. Our guesthouse is nestled on the picturesque banks of the Dordogne river, surrounded by a lush one-acre garden, offering you a serene and delightful stay.Conveniently located, our house is easily accessible and just a short walk away from a train station that connects to Bordeaux, Bergerac, Sarlat, and St. Emilion. You can explore these enchanting destinations with utmost ease.
Our garden boasts mature fruit trees and inviting outdoor dining and seating areas, where you can relax and unwind. If you have an affinity for bird watching, you'll be delighted to know that our garden is frequented by numerous bird species during spring and summer. Additionally, the river is home to graceful swans, majestic herons, and elegant geese. Should you desire, direct river access is available from our house, allowing you to indulge in some tranquil fishing.
Within a short stroll, you'll find local towns that cater to your every need, including bakeries, a supermarket, charming cafes, delightful restaurants, a bank, and a post office. Everything you require for a convenient stay is within easy reach.

The house is located in the heart of Aquitaine, halfway between Bordeaux and Sarlat-la-Canéda, a drive that takes approximately 90 minutes. Additionally, we are conveniently close to the market towns of Bergerac and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, both just a short drive away. Furthermore, we enjoy easy access to Bergerac-Roumanière Airport and the local TER train network. Our local train station is conveniently located within a ten-minute walk.
