This area holds a rich history, influenced by the great civilizations of Europe. Surrounded by breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes, you'll find ancient ruined castles, exquisite wines, and refreshing natural spring water.
To truly experience this captivating region, we encourage you to explore the trails once walked by the Cathars eight centuries ago.
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the landscape, where you can admire the rugged silhouettes of the medieval castles of Peyrepertuse and Quéribus. Discover the enchanting forests of live oak, olive groves, wild fig trees, and aromatic herbs like thyme, rosemary, and lavender. Just a short distance away, you can find solace in the cool, crystal-clear waters of the river Agly, cascading down to the Hermitage in the spectacular Gorges de Galamus.
Upon returning to Duilhac, unwind by the waterfalls and pools of the old mill located below the village. Enjoy the melodious tunes of music as you savor the local products.
