Situated in a serene sanctuary, you will have the pleasure of experiencing a one-of-a-kind wilderness setting where you can fully immerse yourself in tranquility. Our accommodation is located in a separate building from our main house, featuring a charming 28 m² room equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. Inside, you will find a cozy 140cm bed and a 90cm bed that can be converted into a sofa for two guests. Additionally, we provide a library, table, chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, kettle, and crockery for your convenience. Outside, you can indulge in the picturesque garden, either under the shade of the pergola or in clear view of the magnificent surroundings, with a forest table for delightful al fresco dining. Children are welcome to enjoy a communal play area with other guests. We accept payment by check. The price for a stay is 45€ for two people or 55€ for three people, which includes a delicious organic breakfast (featuring one double bed and one single bed). For Friday and Saturday reservations, we offer the option to book organic and vegetarian meals for an additional cost of 12.50€ per person. Please note that we do not allow pets. In the village, you will find a talented potter and a local shepherdess who sells delicious cheese. Within the Baronnies region, there are various attractions to explore, including a castle, a Cistercian abbey, a stunning gorge, an interpretive trail known as the "Little Amazon," and numerous charming villages where time seems to stand still. The scenery is truly enchanting and has been recognized as a classified area of natural beauty.

Description for Gite

The "Barn Owl" cottage is located at an elevation of 660 m above sea level in a peaceful village called Baronnies. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature while enjoying breathtaking mountain views. The cottage provides easy access to marked hiking trails right from your doorstep.

Situated on a 3,500m² plot of land, the cottage shares the space with our main house and a separate guesthouse. This renovated barn features a cozy ground floor with a combined living room and kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find two interconnected rooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other with bunk beds for children. Additionally, there is a lovely garden area where you can dine while soaking in the stunning mountain landscape. (*Also available on the same site is the "Chickadees" bed and breakfast for 2 or 3 people.)

Rental details:
- Outside of school holidays: €285 per week
- During school holidays: €385 per week
- Unfortunately, we do not accept pets.
- Payment by check is accepted.

At the end of your stay, a tourist tax of €0.50 per person per day (free for those under 18) will be collected.

Additional services:
- To keep you warm during chilly nights, we provide a sufficient supply of firewood for the wood stove, free of charge. However, please note that the main heating source is electric.
- We offer optional linen rental: €10 for single bed sheets, €15 for double bed sheets, and €5 for towels per person. Payment for this service is made upon arrival.
- For your convenience, we offer two options for end-of-stay cleaning: you can choose to handle the cleaning yourself or opt for our service for a fee of €50.

The town of Lies is located 8 km from Bagnère-de-Bigorre, a charming spa town with a delightful farmers market every Saturday. It also offers amenities such as a spa center (Aquensis), cinema, theater, and swimming pool. Within a wider radius, you'll find the ski resort Domaine "TOURMALET - BAREGES La Mongie" just 20 kilometers away, the majestic Peak Midi de Bigorre (known as the ship of the stars), and the renowned city of Lourdes. Our valleys provide numerous opportunities for medium and high mountain hiking.

Super régions , chambre dhôtes sans grand standing , mais elle a plein de charme et ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour très agréable .Et en plus de la gentillesse des propriétaires le panorama est grandiose . Merci

Début novembre...Petit WE de repos dans un endroit paisible et un accueil fort sympathique.
La chambre équipée est très confortable et laménagement cuisine permet d'être indépendant pour les repas.Nous n'avons pas pu goûter aux repas du soir maison car nous sommes restés trop peu de temps.Nous recommandons cet endroit et un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur service.
