It is surrounded by vast vineyards such as Vouvray and Montlouis, as well as being in close proximity to the most prestigious chateaux in the region including Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Cheverny, and Chambord.Nestled amidst a picturesque landscape of lush greenery and tranquil waters, this magnificent estate offers two charming guest rooms and a 3-star cottage, classified by Gites de France. The shaded park, enclosed by ancient walls, features beautifully bloomed terraces, a towpath (GR41) for scenic walks, a fishing area along the Cher River (just 50 meters away), and a heated pool – all of which provide ample opportunities for relaxation and leisurely strolls. Description for Gite
This charming cottage is situated next to the owners' house on a beautifully landscaped and enclosed garden. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living room that includes a lounge, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen. There is also a comfortable bedroom with a double bed (140) and an adjoining bathroom.Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed (140) and the other with two single beds (80) and a crib. Additionally, there is a second bathroom for your convenience.
Outside, you can enjoy the terrace and garden, complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. As our guest, you will have access to the heated swimming pool, park, bike shelter, and children's playground which includes table tennis, swings, and a trampoline.
If you're interested, we can provide you with free bikes upon request. One particularly enjoyable bike ride takes you along the scenic Cher river to the magnificent Chenonceau Castle via the towpath.
Please note that our cottage is non-smoking and we do not accept pets, ensuring a comfortable stay for all our guests.
