Directions

Directions from Paris:

When leaving Paris, take the A10 motorway and exit at exit 24, which is located south of Tours and leads towards "Chinon." Once you reach the ring road, follow the toll-free A85 motorway and then the D751 towards "Chinon." As you approach Azay le Rideau, you will come across a large roundabout with a Carrefour supermarket on the left. At this roundabout, follow the signs for Azay center and continue straight. Cross the center and the Indre River, and after approximately 500 meters, you will enter "La Chapelle Saint Blaise," which is essentially the main part of Cheillé. Take a right onto the D17 heading west towards Cheillé - église and Rivarennes. After driving for 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for "chambres d'hôtes Le Vaujoint, Les Ecureuils, and la grange bleu." Turn left and drive up the hill. Do not stop at the first gîtes on the left; continue driving for another 200 meters. The Ecureuils is located at the corner of two roads in the hamlet. The parking area is on the right side of the house.

Traveling by train:

If you prefer to travel by train, the Azay le Rideau train station is approximately 6 kilometers away, while Tours is about 30 kilometers away (accessible via the motorway).
